Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is an American actor who is best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. It earned her six Emmy nominations for best acting support and critical acclaim. Her work has been recognized throughout her career of two decades for her work in lawyer thriller Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. In movies, she is acclaimed for her performance in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. The voice actress also played the role of characters from films like Toy Story 4 Scoob!, Toy Story 4: Up on Poppy Hill as well as From Up on Poppy Hill. In the beginning, she was a popular model. Following a time, her modeling career continued until 1999 when Undressed became her first role as an actor on television. Her first big role was in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her performance in the cult hit Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her with the distinction of being the sexiest and most attractive American woman of 2010, in their annual poll.
